Brains' Clinic
Brains’ Clinic came to life with the Arab spring 2011 to introduce a revolutionary service in Egypt which is, Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation starting with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). It was no until later in 2012 that our, and probably Egypt’s, first MagVenture R30 machine after being trained in Germany. A few years later, we probably yet again, attained the first R20 machine in Egypt. This model is what could be called the “portable” unit for home and other medical facility services. Today, we have two machines of each model with the latest “theta burst” treatments.
Since its establishment, Brains’ Clinic team has cumulatively treated over 600 patients in three contents (Africa, America and Europe), over 200 diagnostic procedures (USA), have published over 10 innovative treatments and techniques in the TMS world, held important positions like Medical Advisor and trainer to one of the 3 major TMS manufacturers in the USA and last but not least, we are regarded as one of MagVenture’s few authenticated training centers. We also worked to establish TMS services as part of Prof. Tarek Asaad Neurophysiology Lab at the Institute of Psychiatry at Ain Shams University Hospital (ASUIP).
